Tasks
- Conduct root-cause investigations of systemic issues found during development or escalated from field or Operations in all lifecycle phases, from early feasibility to product care, and collaborate with other functions to develop solutions for complex issues.
- Build up subject matter expertise and provide support to the RMD Development Teams (Assay-, Software- and Instrument-Development), Global Customer Support (GCS), Case Investigation and Resolution (CIR), and Operations, requiring close cross-department interaction to gather all necessary information for high-quality support.
- Responsible for internal repair visits, retrofitting of mechanical parts, configuration management monitoring and tracking, and installing or updating Instrument Software.
- Independently plan assigned work packages and continuously monitor and track working progress.
- Conduct integration development activities on system component level, closely interact with project teams, and participate and coordinate with other internal groups and departments.
- Perform statistical data analysis to support root-cause investigation and problem solving, risk assessment, product development, and process improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently, handling cross-departmental development tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and German.
- Strong analytical and interdisciplinary thinking.
- Experience in statistical data analysis.
