The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland. Lonza Ltd. offers a commercial internship in the HR Operations Switzerland Team to support the department. During the internship you will gain an insight into the daily business of an internationally active company and the activities in the Human Resources department. Throughout your internship, you will support administrative tasks on a daily basis and have the opportunity to contribute as an active team member. This is an office‑first role, with close, real‑time collaboration and team alignment. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).
Tasks
- Support team members with all administrative activities of the onboarding process for new starters.
- Manage tasks related to the employee life cycle, including the exit process, to guarantee smooth transitions.
- Cooperate closely with HR partners, including Recruiters and HR Business Partners.
- Coordinate monthly events for new employees.
- Handle general administrative tasks, such as processing interview expenses and managing spontaneous applications.
Requirements
