Are you looking to apply your regulatory expertise in a demanding, international private banking environment and make a meaningful contribution to ensuring compliant business activities?
Tasks
- Advise key stakeholders on Swiss and cross-border regulatory matters as part of the Regulatory and Investment Services Compliance team.
- Assume a responsible role with a particular focus on the Lugano branch, working closely with specialist units across the Bank and the Group.
- Support and implement regulatory projects in Swiss and European financial market law as a recognised subject-matter expert.
- Work closely with Legal, Project Management, the Front and other functions across the Bank and the Group.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory matters relating to the Lugano branch (excluding anti-money-laundering related matters), leveraging Italian language skills.
- Act as a key point of contact for Swiss and cross-border regulatory matters, particularly regarding FinSA, MiFID and CRD VI.
- Handle enquiries and assessments relating to current regulatory (cross-border) topics in day-to-day business.
- Develop practical, risk-based solutions.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Law; admission to the Swiss Bar is an advantage.
- Have at least 5 years of professional experience in Regulatory Compliance within (Private) Banking.
- Fluent in Italian, German and English (written and spoken).
- Experience with standard banking IT applications is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, independent and precise way of working.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with different stakeholders and management levels.
- Team-oriented personality who embraces new challenges with commitment.
- Willing to occasionally travel within Switzerland, particularly to Lugano.
