This PhD position in Clinical Science offers the opportunity to coordinate and manage your own clinical research project, support others, and contribute to advancing paediatric medicine at Kinderspital Zürich, the largest university children's hospital in Switzerland.
Tasks
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of your own clinical research project.
- Support other research projects as needed.
- Recruit study participants in accordance with study protocols.
- Collect, manage, and accurately enter research data into study databases.
- Analyse research data and contribute to the interpretation of study findings.
- Present research findings at international scientific conferences.
- Publish research results in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Support and supervise Master's students throughout their thesis projects.
Requirements
- Master in Medicine, Biology or Psychology.
- Knowledge of the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines E6(R3) and Swiss regulatory requirements would be an advantage.
- Excellent oral and written knowledge in German and English.
- Interest in working in a clinical study team, with patients – especially children and their parents.
- Attention to detail.
- Structured process thinking.
- Ability to cope with frustration.
- Ability to work independently but also as a part of the team.
