We are seeking an experienced Senior Scientific Associate to join our dynamic and committed Technical Manufacturing Laboratories team.
Tasks
- Participate in the planning and execution of formulation and process development trials according to agreed protocols and plans.
- Dispense and sample materials.
- Operate rooms and equipment according to internal procedures.
- Prepare technical development documentation protocols for manufacturing processes according to internal standards.
- Provide input to development reports.
- Conduct IPC tests.
- Document and interpret results.
- Clean operational areas and equipment according to internal procedures.
- Manage inventory of facility consumables, including raw materials, excipients, packaging materials, and personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years professional experience in pharmaceutical drug product formulation and manufacturing process development, preferably in the field of solid dosage forms.
- Familiarity with Quality by Design approaches.
- High level of independence in conducting experiments and technical development documentation.
- Hands-on experience with the assembly, setup, and operation of equipment used in oral solid dosage form manufacturing.
- Knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear specific personal protective equipment (PPE) as required based on the OEL classification of the APIs handled.
- Well-developed planning, time-management, and organization skills.
- Collaborative and proactive mindset.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Fluent in English (German or French is an advantage).
