We seek a highly talented researcher to explore novel computing architectures for next-generation wireless systems and analyze key architectural trade-offs in coordination with cross-functional domain experts. Our primary mission is driving new fundamental research and innovation to achieve breakthroughs in future computing systems.

Tasks

  • Design and validate efficient system, hardware, and software technologies to meet product requirements and solve challenges.
  • Achieve high computational performance with high energy efficiency.
  • Explore new approaches aligned with emerging technologies, competitive performance requirements, and critical system constraints.
  • Recognize and understand technology trends and propose novel technologies to improve performance, power, area, and flexibility.
  • Participate in discussions of strategy and business plans.
  • Cooperate with local resources in industry and academia based on business requirements.
  • Be independently responsible for development and operation of cooperation projects.

Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SoC architecture in the area of high-performance computing systems.
  • Experience in Wireless and Cellular technologies such as LTE/5G NR is preferred.
  • Outstanding SoC and system architecture fundamentals with substantial experience, including understanding of power and performance trade-offs, area and energy efficiency improvement, and SoC data and control flows.
  • Expertise in computing architecture, such as programmable/reconfigurable architecture, dataflow architecture, computing in/near memory, and interconnect design.
  • Sound understanding of microprocessor subsystems (microarchitecture), memory systems (cache, scratchpad, memory hierarchy, etc.), and on-chip interconnect.
  • Manycore design and RISC-V experience is preferred.
  • Good understanding of hardware-software interfaces and interactions.
  • A compiler background is preferred.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent written skills for clear and concise reporting.
