Are you interested in participating in innovation and process development in a leading global manufacturing organization? We offer an internship position in our local engineering or quality team for consumable production, where you can help us continuously improve our production and optimize machine productivity. The start date is flexible according to student availability, with a preferred minimum duration of 6 months.
Tasks
- Work as part of a competent and diverse team operating in fields such as anchor production, direct fastening, and diamond consumables.
- Collaborate closely with experts in Engineering, Development, and Production to improve processes and manage your own projects along the value stream.
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes and operational excellence, working on next generation manufacturing technologies within the context of industry 4.0.
- Develop and implement solutions, learn new production processes, and contribute innovative ideas to the innovation process.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Engineering (such as Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Data Science) throughout the internship.
- Ideally, some initial experience in an I4.0 manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, fluent in English and/or German.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to manage yourself well.
- Passionate about innovation and process development.
- Interested in new production processes and have a hands-on approach.
- Keen to learn and driven to succeed.
