You want to kickstart your career in cybersecurity? This internship will provide you with exciting insights into the cybersecurity landscape of a global company. The internship is tailored to your interest in cybersecurity governance, cybersecurity architecture, or cyber defense, with the overall goal of integrating cybersecurity as a business enabler. The start date is flexible to the student's availability, with a preferred duration of at least 6 months.
Tasks
- Gain insights into the cybersecurity program, including security awareness, risk management, penetration testing, consulting, and engineering.
- Be mentored by an experienced team member.
- Contribute to various projects and initiatives across the organization.
- Assignments tailored based on your interests and the competence you want to grow.
- Receive advice, constructive feedback, and training.
- Opportunity to participate in internship tracks such as Cyber Risk Management, Cybersecurity Engineering, Operational Technology (OT) Security, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, and Offensive Security.
- Learn company processes, be part of a project, contribute to its success, drive improvements, and gain experience in the finance world.
Requirements
- Enrollment for the whole internship period in a Master’s program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Economics, or related fields.
- IT affinity and aiming for hands-on experience in cybersecurity.
- First practical experience in IT.
- Effective communication skills, with excellent English and interpersonal skills to manage change.
- Strategic approach and good problem-solving skills, with a thirst to learn and challenge yourself.
- For non-EU / EFTA citizens: Please state your eligibility status to work in Switzerland/Liechtenstein and note that if you do not own a valid Swiss/Liechtenstein work permit, Hilti cannot guarantee your final employment due to authority regulations.
