Join EY's Europe West International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) team in Zurich, where you will advise leading Swiss and multinational clients on complex tax matters. This role offers significant client exposure, technical depth and attractive career development opportunities.
Tasks
- Lead Swiss and international tax advisory and transaction projects for multinational groups, privately owned businesses and SMEs.
- Advise clients on international tax planning, restructurings, acquisitions, divestitures, financing structures, operating model transformations and R&D projects.
- Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on complex cross-border tax matters.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the tax practice.
- Coach and develop junior team members in a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Work closely with EY teams across jurisdictions to deliver seamless cross-border services to clients.
Requirements
- University degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, complemented by an advanced tax qualification such as the Swiss Certified Tax Expert designation or a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Taxation.
- Several years of experience in Swiss and international taxation are required.
- Collaborative mindset, strong client focus, drive, commitment, and the ability to quickly grasp complex topics.
- High-quality client delivery, technical excellence, and trusted advisor skills are valued.
- Fluency in German and English is required.
- Strong interest in digitalization, AI, automation, and emerging technologies, with exposure to tax technology, AI tools, or agent-based solutions considered a plus.
