The work model for the role is hybrid.
Tasks
- Support the implementation of the local quality strategy, driving a strong quality culture, continuous improvement, and sustainable problem-solving.
- Qualify and approve new suppliers and conduct regular process, system, and product audits.
- Define and communicate quality requirements and lead First Article Inspections and qualification processes.
- Track supplier performance using KPIs (e.g., PPM, OTD) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure effective corrective actions (8D/CAPA).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent professional experience.
- Good knowledge of English and German (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
- Experience in supplier quality management and supplier audits (ISO 9001, VDA 6.3, IATF 16949 or similar).
- Knowledge of APQP/PPAP and First Article Inspection (FAI).
- Strong problem-solving skills using root cause analysis methods (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa).
- Understanding of statistical quality methods (SPC, MSA, Gauge R&R).
- Knowledge of technical drawings, GD&T, and material/component specifications.
