Tasks
- Manage the entire purchasing lifecycle within SAP, from creating and releasing purchase orders to actively monitoring and expediting them to align with production schedules and customer delivery deadlines.
- Drive supplier excellence by monitoring key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, quality, and lead times; conduct performance reviews and proactively resolve issues to strengthen supply chain partnerships.
- Oversee the inbound logistics process, including freight and customs clearance; handle urgent delivery situations and manage non-conformance reports to ensure operational continuity.
- Identify opportunities to improve the fulfillment process by analyzing order backlogs, identifying root causes for delays, and implementing effective recovery plans.
- Monitor and ensure the integrity of data exchanged through supplier EDI systems.
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in a technical field, Process Management, or Supply Chain Management.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong, hands-on knowledge of SAP is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in both English and Italian.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Experience with order handling, inventory management, and data analysis would be a significant advantage.
